May 9, 2005:
Sequoia Senior Solutions, Inc. of Petaluma will be recognized as a finalist for this year’s Governor’s 2005 Older Worker and Exemplary Employer Award nomination by the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and presented with a certificate signed by Governor Schwarzenegger at an awards luncheon in Sacramento, May 17, 2005.
This recognition is in appreciation for all that Sequoia Senior Solutions has done to provide employment opportunities for older workers, according to Bonnie Parks, Executive Director of the Senior Worker Advocate Office at the EDD.
“We are delighted to receive this recognition,” says Gabriella Ambrosi, Sequoia Senior Solutions President and CEO. “By employing older caregivers, we help them while they help their fellow senior citizens. We seek to employ caring individuals who delight in helping aging adults in need of assistance with their daily routines, running errands, or personal care.”
